Quality Inn Dahlonega Near University

The staff. Probably one of the friendliest ladies checked us in and gave lots of advice about the area. The room was extremely clean and smelled fresh. It's about 1/2 mile to the downtown area and traffic to see Christmas lights was horrendous so we chose to just walk down because when we rode through, we didn't see available parking anywhere. It's slightly uphill coming back but we walk everyday anyway so not a big deal.

Very good location. Staff was friendly and helpful. We only stayed 2 nights but when we got back after lunch each day the room was made up and there were fresh towels. We have stayed at pricier places and not had daily housekeeping services, so we were very impressed. Breakfast was good enough and there was always coffee available in the lobby.

This hotel is only a few minutes away from downtown Dahlonega and a short drive to all the hikes we wanted to do. The staff, especially Bailey, is amazing and friendly and made it easy to extend our stay, which we decided to do after finding our room to be really clean with really comfortable beds. Our room had all the conveniences of a more expensive hotel, including a complimentary breakfast that included hot items such as eggs and sausage and a large assortment of other options as well. We can definitely see staying here again in the future and highly recommend this place!

Every thing about this motel was great. Booking.com screwed up big time. I called and ask that we need to stay 3 nights instead of one. I got an e-mail saying they could not get us 3 nights. When we got to the motel I ask about about the three nights and was told there would have been no problem. I had to pay for Fri. and Sat out of my pocket at a lot higher rate, because booking.com did not do as I ask and book us for Fri Sat. nights I will not be using booking.com in the future.

Plenty good enough for getting started and not having to eat out. We do weekend overnight dates in Dahlonega Georgia. Dinner and trails and then go home.
